Depending upon the soil type and extant natural features, trees and their roots all our paths and patios are laid on solid sub bases within well defined excavated boundaries and shored, if necessary, and then consolidated to create a lifelong support for the construction above.
Whether block work, brick, paving, either old or modern, both manmade and natural, decorative or plain, convenient, utilitarian, woodchip or York stone, all can be enhanced, emphasized and defined by board, brick or tile edging.
Careful allowance will be made for existing damp course and directional run off, whether to French, recessed or line drains, we specialise in careful removal of spoil without damage or mess, through both awkward and impossible access.
