Our clients asked us to modernise a large outside area to make it a tranquil place to sit. We resurfaced the whole space, with beds at interesting intervals, using granite setts to edge the borders and a Cotswold shingle for the pathways. We planted pleached Photinias to create a natural wind break, with lavenders and a central topiary to create a focal point. Finally, we planted centranthus in the centres to give vibrant colours in the summer months.
